We had sopa de guia, which is mostly calabasas with half a corn on the cob (vegetarian!), but also the most delicious creamy cheese and meat quesadillas for appetizers. They have a great selection of moles - pictured you will see the coloradito and amarallito moles, which were both delicious. The waitress also brought out chapulín (grasshoppers) for us to try, which were salty and roasted... not bad at all. Next time I will try them prepared in a dish (we didn't know about them until after our meal). The decor was very nice and colorful and the staff was super friendly and talkative, and spoke sufficient English, even though we preferred to use the experience to practice our Spanish. I also found out late they had Mexican mead! SKOLL!!! So I ordered one to go with my desserts. It was a very good traditional mead, and they had an assortment of flavors. Sweet spot, this one, indeed, if you have a hankering to explore moles and authentic Oaxacan cuisine."
